Kildalton Cross

The Kildalton Cross is a monolithic high cross in Celtic cross form in the churchyard of the former parish church of Kildalton on the island of Islay in the Inner Hebrides, Scotland. More than 2.6 metres tall and dating from the first half of the 8th century, the High Cross of Kildalton is closely related to major crosses in Iona.
